Les Visiteurs Overview
Les Visiteurs for the Game Boy Color is a platformer that adapts the narrative of the first two films in the series. Players assume the role of either Jacquouille la Fripouille or Godefroy de Montmirail.
The action spans five distinct historical eras, which include the Middle Ages, Regency Era, and Modern Times, as well as Prehistoric Times and a Dystopian Future. A wizard named Eusebius provides support to the player between the platforming stages.
Gameplay involves navigating these levels and confronting enemies, primarily by jumping on them. A secondary, limited method of attack using projectiles is also available. Some stages conclude with encounters against boss enemies.
