International Karate 2000 Overview

International Karate
International Karate 2000 is a fighting game for the Game Boy Color. It is a remake of an earlier title, where the player competes in a global karate championship.
Matches are viewed from a static side perspective. Victory is achieved by accumulating points through successful strikes and techniques, rather than by depleting an opponent's health. This version introduces a health bar that affects a fighter's condition and organizes bouts into rounds.
The player controls one of twelve characters, each representing a different part of the world. All visual elements have been newly created for this release. Moves are executed using combinations of the directional pad and action buttons.
