Touhoumon: Marisa Magic World is a side-scrolling kart racing game set within a Disney amusement park. The narrative premise involves Chip and Dale organizing a competitive series of races after a fireworks machine is shattered into thirteen pieces. The objective across various modes is to recover these components.
Playable characters include numerous Disney figures, with a few requiring specific actions to unlock. Racing occurs on tracks modeled after famous park attractions, where players compete over three laps. Course elements include collectible coins for boosting speed, speed-boosting arrows, and balloons that dispense items. These items can provide advantages like temporary invincibility or be used to obstruct opponents.
The primary Adventure mode tasks players with winning races to earn machine pieces. Each track can be played multiple times for different objectives, including standard races and a time-limited trophy collection challenge. Three additional challenge courses require collecting a set number of coins within a time limit. A separate Time Trial mode is also available.
