Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Overview
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 for the Game Boy Advance adapts its console counterpart into an isometric format, utilizing polygonal character models within representations of the console levels. The experience is structured around two primary modes of play.
One mode follows a narrative where a player-created skater progresses on a global tour alongside professionals, developing abilities and earning rewards. This story mode introduces a fair approach by removing timers from most objectives and permitting multiple goals to be pursued simultaneously. Another mode presents a more challenging series of traditional tasks, such as achieving specific trick combinations or high scores within strict time limits.
Gameplay mechanics are expanded with several new moves. These include techniques for recovering from falls without losing a score multiplier, a time-slowing function for precise trick landings, and the ability to place stickers on the environment.
