Pokemon Turquoise is a Game Boy Advance adaptation of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The core progression involves players assembling decks from collected cards to engage in battles, with the objective of defeating Gym Leaders to acquire more powerful cards.
Players begin with a tutorial that explains the rules and provides a choice of starter deck. The game features a variety of card types, including Grass, Fire, Water, Electric, Fighting, Psychic, and Colorless, alongside essential Energy Cards and Trainer Cards. Certain unique cards, such as Surfing Pikachu or Flying Pikachu, are obtained by defeating specific opponents.
