Pac-Man World 2 Overview
Pac-Man World 2 is a side-scrolling platformer where the playable character must recover five stolen Golden Fruits. Their theft has released an evil spirit named Spooky, plunging Pac-Land into darkness.
Movement extends beyond simple left and right scrolling, incorporating depth into the environments. The character utilizes a set of specialized maneuvers, including a butt-bounce, rev roll, flip-kick, and rev jump. These moves serve dual purposes for both traversal, such as ascending platforms or hills, and confronting enemies.
Progress involves navigating diverse worlds by running, bouncing, rolling, and swimming to locate the hidden fruits. Additional collectibles in the form of Galaxian keys can be found, which provide access to classic Pac-Man maze stages. A password system allows players to return to previously completed levels.
