Mortal Kombat : Tournament Edition Overview
Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition for the Game Boy Advance functions as a follow up to Deadly Alliance, integrating several returning fighters with numerous debuts for the platform. The roster expansion introduces figures such as Bo Rai Cho, Johnny Cage, and Reptile alongside others like Sareena and Drahmin.
Its functionality extends to both solitary and group play. Single player options include a Survival mode, while multiplayer is supported through several new formats. These allow for competitions involving up to four participants in a Tournament setting, or direct two player contests in modes like Race to Raiden, where the objective is to be the first to overcome a series of opponents to fight Raiden.
Additionally, the software can interact with its predecessor, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, via a link connection. This enables access to certain multiplayer features across the two games.
