Famicom Mini 22: Nazo no Murasame Jou is a game where the player manages a horse with the goal of entering it into races. Success in these competitions depends on the animal's core attributes, which include its Stamina, Speed, and Jump capabilities.
Training can improve these values, but the overall Horse Type is a more significant factor in determining performance. Races present environmental obstacles like mud and sand that can impede progress, and contact with other horses also slows the player down.
The objective during a race is to finish within the top three positions to earn prize money. A feature called the Barcode Boy allows for the import of pre-made horses into the player's stable.
