Madden NFL 2004 Overview
Madden NFL 2004 for the Game Boy Advance represents the final handheld entry developed by Budcat Creations. It maintains the core American football simulation, offering updated team and player statistics to reflect the 2003 NFL season.
The available modes include exhibition matches, full season play, and playoffs, alongside options for player trades and creating custom athletes through training mini-games. Multiplayer is supported for up to four participants using a link cable. While the graphical engine is carried over, the camera perspective has been altered to provide a more useful view of the playing field.
John Madden and Al Michaels return to provide commentary. A distinct addition is the game's connectivity feature, which allows it to interact with the GameCube version to unlock content in that console title.
