Wolfsbane Overview
Wolfsbane follows a merchant named Axel after a nocturnal werewolf attack leaves him cursed. He must identify and locate the creature that bit him before midnight to halt his own impending transformation.
The gameplay is primarily adventure-based, requiring exploration of a medieval town and interaction with its residents through a branching dialogue system. Information and objects must be gathered to solve the central mystery, presented from a side-scrolling viewpoint atypical for the genre.
While the core experience involves investigation and conversation, sporadic combat sequences introduce action elements, tracked by a health meter for the protagonist.
