The Simpsons: Barts House of Weirdness is a side scrolling action game where the player controls Bart Simpson. His objective is to escape confinement and gather necessary items to save Krusty the Clown.
Gameplay involves navigating through six distinct levels, such as an attic filled with spiders, the Springfield Mall, and a surreal version of the Itchy & Scratchy cartoon. Bart utilizes a slingshot, spray paint, and water balloons to overcome various antagonists, including space mutants and ghosts.
