Sobor Overview
Sobor structures its gameplay around alternating phases of combat and environmental navigation. The player manages a team of five fighters, with direct control over one member at a time and the ability to switch between them freely.
Combat is centered on team-based brawls where the player's character is supported by four AI-controlled allies. Between these fights, obstacle courses must be navigated, drawing on elements from Russian folklore such as the Baba Yaga.
An initial training session establishes the team's capabilities, with the player's performance having a lasting impact on their effectiveness. These preparatory and navigational segments break up the primary five-on-five battles that form the game's core.
