Shadoworlds Overview
Shadoworlds is a real time role playing game set on an abandoned space station. Players direct a team of four explorers to investigate the disappearance of the crew, which involves extensive environmental navigation, puzzle solving, and combat.
The interface streamlines traditional RPG statistics by representing character attributes with graphical bars instead of numerical values. A formation system allows the entire party to be moved as a unit, rather than controlling each member individually.
Visibility is a central gameplay mechanic, governed by a system that limits the field of view to only a short distance. Players must manage light sources such as torches and flares to illuminate areas for exploration, making environmental interaction a key part of progression.
