Mystic Towers Overview
Mystic Towers is an action game featuring puzzle and role playing components, starring the wizard Baron Baldric. This title serves as a sequel to Baron Baldric: A Grave Adventure.
The core challenge involves clearing twelve distinct towers, each with a fixed layout of five floors. Every tower contains a specific number of monsters and a central generator that must be deactivated to complete the level. Navigating the isometric rooms requires combat, jumping past obstacles, and gathering items.
Baron Baldric's survival depends on managing more than just health; a food and drink meter must also be maintained by finding appropriate consumables. Combat primarily utilizes spells, which are obtained from vending machines. Collecting treasure grants points that can eventually provide extra lives, with a maximum of nine available.
Item collection serves a dual purpose. Some objects are keys to environmental puzzles, such as unlocking doors, while others tie directly into the game's role playing systems. The objective in every tower remains consistent: eliminate all enemies, stop the monster generator, and locate the exit.
