Mega Blast Overview
Mega Blast is a multiplayer maze game where participants use timed explosives to defeat opponents. The core challenge stems from the delayed detonation of these bombs, requiring careful placement to avoid self destruction while targeting others.
Destructible walls within the maze can conceal various power ups. These include predictable enhancements like greater explosive range or more bombs, as well as unpredictable items that can either aid or hinder a player. Negative effects might involve losing control of bombs or having controls reversed.
A key addition to the established formula is the introduction of throwable bombs. These projectiles can be launched in four directions, ricochet off surfaces and each other, and detonate either on a timer or when entering another bomb's blast radius. This mechanic creates additional strategic layers for players to consider.
