Medieval Warriors Overview
Medieval Warriors is a turn based fantasy strategy title that predates the real time strategy genre. It functions as an enhanced version of TeleEpic, featuring computer controlled opponents for solo play. Players select either the Red or Blue team, each composed of twelve individually named warriors with unique statistics.
Combat occurs across four distinct battlefield maps, each with its own terrain features like forests, ponds, and interior mazes that influence tactics. Effective play requires careful positioning and formation to leverage each unit's specific strengths and vulnerabilities. Management of expendable weapons, such as bows and swords, adds a challenging layer of resource consideration to the strategic decisions.
The game supports both single player against an AI and two player competition via modem connection.
