CyberJudas Overview
In this simulation, the player assumes the role of the President of the United States, tasked with managing global influence and national security. A central objective involves maintaining domestic popularity to ensure political survival, which is pursued through international actions like promoting democratic systems and establishing overseas military installations. The administration must also address hostile nations through a range of measures including sanctions, espionage, or direct military engagement.
Operational decisions are informed by a cabinet of key advisors, each providing specialized reports on global and domestic affairs. However, a unique and challenging threat emerges from within this group: one advisor is secretly working to sabotage the presidency. This internal adversary, known as Cyber Judas, manipulates presidential authority to create international incidents, damage public trust, or even trigger a nuclear conflict by launching missiles without authorization.
To counter this betrayal, the player has access to an artificial intelligence system named TRACE, which supplies intelligence related to the saboteur's activities. This core conflict of identifying and neutralizing the traitor while managing standard geopolitical strategy is specific to the game's campaign mode. The experience is framed as a sequel to Shadow President, continuing its focus on high-stakes political power and diplomatic maneuvering.
