Color Lines Overview
Color Lines is a turn based board game for DOS, originating in Russia. Players manipulate colored balls on a nine by nine grid, aiming to create sequences of five or more matching colors in any straight line.
Gameplay proceeds in turns, with three new balls of random colors appearing in random positions after each player move. The player can relocate one ball per turn to set up these lines, which vanish upon completion to award points. The primary objective is to exceed a score of 3000 points, held by a figure called the king, after which the player assumes that role. The session only concludes in failure when the board becomes completely occupied, making the core loop challenging and theoretically endless.
