Annihilator Tank Overview
Annihilator Tank is a DOS shareware title where the player operates a single tank against waves of enemy armor. The full version contains four distinct environments, progressing from Country Carnage to a final challenging stage called Combat Unlimited, where enemy numbers are infinite and survival is the only goal.
Player control extends beyond basic movement to include independent turret rotation, allowing for tactical aiming. The interface provides a radar display for enemy positions and a compass, while destructible elements like trees on the battlefield prevent them from being used as permanent cover by either side.
Only the initial Country Carnage stage was available in the shareware release. The complete game offers four save slots for progress, with scenarios designed to present increasingly complex confrontations.
