Turbo Toons is a fixed screen racing title where players control Hanna Barbera cartoon characters. More than twenty such characters are represented, with options including Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and Quick Draw McGraw.
Races occur across a selection of over thirty tracks. The gameplay involves navigating these courses while managing environmental elements. Certain items found on the track can assist a player or create obstacles for opponents, such as a rain cloud that can be passed to another racer. Additionally, non player characters occasionally cross the path of the vehicles and must be avoided.
The game supports multiplayer competition for up to five participants simultaneously.
