Battle Grand Prix Overview
Battle Grand Prix is a Formula One racing title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It offers a selection of forty drivers and twenty four fictional teams for competition. A persistent split screen display is used, showing the player's view alongside that of a nearby opponent, regardless of whether a second human is participating.
Players can modify their vehicle in a garage and utilize pit stops for repairs during an event. Significant damage from a crash can result in an early retirement from the race. The experience can be adjusted across three tiers of difficulty, from beginner to expert.
Several distinct modes alter the gameplay focus. One mode automates steering, leaving only acceleration and braking to the player. Another challenges the player to finish at or above a specific ranking to advance, creating a challenging survival scenario. Additional modes include standard championship and versus races.
