The primary objective involves advancing through the league system, which can be achieved by developing the current club or accepting managerial positions at more successful ones.
Financial management is a key consideration, with an available overdraft that must be managed carefully. Club operations extend beyond the pitch to include securing sponsorships and upgrading the stadium to increase attendance. Player acquisition and sales form a central system, where clubs compete for signings based on players' rated skills.
Match preparation involves analyzing opponents to set tactics, and adjustments can be made during play, including substitutions. Other managerial duties encompass organizing training and scouting for both established players and youth talent. The game supports multiplayer for up to four individuals, with matches processed simultaneously for all participants.
