Chase H.Q. II Overview
Chase H.Q. II is a driving game where the player pursues five criminals on a freeway. The core objective is to intercept each target vehicle within a time limit, using ramming attacks to disable it for an arrest.
Player strategy is influenced by a choice of three distinct vehicles, each with specific performance trade-offs. A sports car offers high speed but weaker collision damage, while a semi truck is slower but inflicts significant harm upon impact. A four-wheel drive option provides a middle ground. This selection adds a tactical layer to the otherwise straightforward pursuit.
The freeway environment presents a challenging series of hazards beyond traffic. Barricades and other obstacles must be avoided during the chase. Some hostile vehicles will fire upon the player, and a helicopter appears to drop bombs, introducing additional threats that must be managed alongside the primary goal of catching the suspect.
To aid in closing distance when far behind, each car is equipped with a limited supply of three turbo boosters. Success depends on balancing aggressive driving to damage the target with careful navigation to survive the journey, making effective use of the chosen vehicle's strengths.
