The Lone Ranger Overview
The Lone Ranger is set in 1880s Texas, where the player assumes the role of the titular hero seeking to rescue the kidnapped President and avenge his murdered brother and fellow Texas Rangers against the outlaw Butch Cavendish.
Progress is made across eight distinct western areas, each presenting a unique task that advances the pursuit of the primary antagonist. The gameplay employs multiple visual perspectives, including a top-down view for overworld travel and town exploration, side-scrolling segments for confrontations with bosses, and occasional first-person sequences that resemble shooter mechanics.
A monetary system is integrated into the action, as defeated enemies yield cash. This currency can be spent on various supplies, such as additional standard ammunition, dynamite, rifles, or medical care. The player's firearm can be upgraded from a short to a medium or long barrel, and besides standard bullets, more powerful silver bullets are also available for use.
