Bomb Jack is a game where the player character must gather every bomb in a stage to advance. This primary objective is opposed by various hostile creatures, including birds, mummies, turtles, and orbs.
The gameplay is considered challenging, with enemy speed increasing in later stages. Collecting a specific number of bombs will cause a bonus coin to materialize, multiplying the player's score. A power ball item occasionally appears, granting temporary invincibility against enemies and extra time.
An infrequently seen extra life coin provides a chance for continued play. The core loop involves navigating these hazards and power ups to clear each round of bombs.
