Othello Millennium Overview
Othello Millennium is a Game Boy Color version of the board game Othello, also known as Reversi. Its primary feature is a Story Mode where the player chooses a boy or girl avatar to compete in a series of five matches against animal-themed computer opponents, with the difficulty increasing progressively.
Outside the story, a standard single match can be initiated against one of four CPU characters. A two-player option is available under the label "Guest," which involves passing the handheld system between players to take turns.
Preceding matches in Story Mode, the game presents trivia and strategic puzzles about Othello. Correct answers to these questions are optional for progression, and the entire quiz segment can be bypassed by players who wish to advance directly to the board game matches.
