F-1 World Grand Prix Overview
F-1 World Grand Prix is a handheld adaptation of a Nintendo 64 Formula 1 title for the Game Boy Color. It holds an official license for the 1998 season, incorporating its real teams, drivers, and circuits.
The presentation shifts to a two dimensional, third person view. To enhance realism, the game provides options to modify car setups, including transmission settings, gear ratios, tyre selection, and spoiler alignment prior to a race. Weather conditions and vehicle damage can be toggled on or off.
Players can engage with several modes, such as a full season Grand Prix, single races, time trials, and a two player option. The experience allows for three saved progress files and includes two difficulty settings, making the challenge adjustable.
