Dragon Tales: Dragon Adventures Overview
Dragon Tales: Dragon Adventures adapts the animated series into a platform game for the Game Boy Color. The core activity involves navigating levels to locate specific lost items, with each of the five distinct stories setting a different collection goal, such as scattered berries or puzzle pieces.
Players control the human children Emmy and Max, who can access tight spaces, or various dragons capable of brief hovering and flight. Character switching is possible via in-game signs to utilize these different abilities. Beyond the primary objectives, points can be earned by gathering cupcakes, jewels, and music notes.
The level design and target items change between stories, though the fundamental gameplay remains consistent. A later Game Boy Advance release enhanced the presentation and included a tutorial level to introduce interactive elements like bounce pads and poles, while also expanding the roster of playable characters.
