Azarashi Sentai Inazuma: Doki Doki Daisakusen centers on a group called the Inazumas, who are inspired by a seal character and a rock band. Their goal is to reclaim their part of town from the Polar Bear King, who has taken over and bullies them.
Gameplay involves a series of mini-games, including bowling, a rhythm music challenge, a dance floor, ramen matches, and a crane game. Players can choose any of the four group members to participate, aiming for high scores. Success in these activities rewards the player with cards that provide boosts for the group members.
These collected cards serve a specific purpose during the final confrontation, where they can be used to make three concluding mini-games easier. These final challenges are structured as a shooter reminiscent of Space Invaders, a turn-based strategy battle, and a card battle.
