Yoshi's Universal Gravitation is a Game Boy Advance title where the player controls Yoshi to rescue his island. The setting involves a pop-up book where Bowser and Yoshi's Island have been sealed by a spirit named Hongo.

A tilt sensor built into the cartridge is used to manipulate the environment, which is necessary for navigation and interacting with enemies. Clearing specific objectives set by spirits rewards Happiness Medals, which are required to advance.
