Scrabble Blast is a timed puzzle game adaptation of the Scrabble board game. Players work through a series of levels, each governed by a visible timer represented by descending clock icons.
The experience is segmented into distinct modes, each altering the core objective. One mode focuses purely on speed, with the timer accelerating to create a challenging pace. Another requires forming words of a set minimum length to eliminate special numbered clocks. Score targets must be met within the time limit, sometimes with the added constraint of using a specific quantity of words.
Other variations include a mode where players draw from a large, fixed set of over one hundred tiles, and a challenging survival scenario where a relentless countdown pressures the player. The central activity across these modes involves constructing words under time pressure to fulfill varying win conditions.
