Operation Armored Liberty Overview
Operation Armored Liberty is a Game Boy Advance title that reimagines Super Battletank. Its setting has been shifted to the 2003 Invasion of Iraq, where the player operates a single M1A1 Abrams tank from a first-person perspective.
The core objective across its ten missions is to eliminate all opposing forces on the map. Players have access to various tank systems, such as a main gun and a defensive smoke screen. After the initial stages, each level concludes with a boss encounter against a stationary target.
Several modifications distinguish this version from its predecessor. The player's main cannon now fires without a cooldown, but the turret can no longer rotate horizontally. A password system records progress, and failed missions can be retried an unlimited number of times, making the overall experience fair. During operations, friendly bases are available for resupplying ammunition and repairing the tank.
