All-Star Baseball 2003 Overview
All-Star Baseball 2003 marks the first appearance of Acclaim's series on the Game Boy Advance. The portable adaptation utilizes 2D graphics and offers a more limited set of features compared to its console counterpart.
Control is given to the player for pitching, batting, and fielding actions. Batting and pitching are handled from a perspective behind the batter, where a triangular aiming cursor can be used or disabled for a more challenging power swing attempt. Fielding transitions to an overhead view, with visual aids like markers and lines showing the ball's trajectory and player paths.
Available modes range from quick matches and practice sessions to full season play and a World Series. Multiplayer is supported through a link cable. A card collection system, carried over from the console games, allows players to earn cards by winning and trade them with others via the link cable.
