Onslaught Overview
Onslaught was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a simple, intense wave shooter. You were dropped into an arena with a single goal: survive.
You control a lone soldier armed with a heavy machine gun. The mouse moves your aim, and holding the left button unleashes a continuous stream of fire. Waves of enemy infantry, tanks, and aircraft pour in from all sides. Your only task is to mow them down before they overwhelm your position. The pacing is relentless; there are no breaks between waves, just a constant escalation of numbers and vehicle types. The difficulty comes from the sheer volume of targets and the need to constantly pivot and fire. It feels like holding a line against an endless, encroaching tide.
