Knight Overview
Knight was one of those straightforward side-scrolling games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be more than it was, a simple action game you could load in a browser and play for a few minutes. The controls were basic, just arrow keys and a spacebar, which was pretty standard for the time.
You control a knight moving from left to right across the screen. You press the spacebar to swing your sword at the enemies that appear, creatures like skeletons or goblins. The main goal is just to get to the end of each stage, clearing out whatever stands in your way. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the timing of your attacks and the placement of enemies. It feels direct and uncomplicated, a game about moving forward and hitting things.
