Fighting Overview
Fighting was one of those straightforward action games you'd find in the Flash era. It appeared online when browser games were simple diversions, often without a credited developer or a formal release. The title said everything you needed to know; it was about combat in its most basic form.
You control a lone character viewed from the side, moving left and right across a single plane. Enemies approach from both sides, and your job is to shoot them before they reach you. You click the mouse to aim and fire, timing your shots to handle multiple attackers. The main objective is simply to survive each wave, clearing the screen to progress. The pacing is quick, with little respite between foes, and the difficulty comes from their increasing numbers and speed. It feels like a tense, reactive test of your aim and composure.
