Super Solvers: Challenge of the Ancient Empires! is a platform game structured around five primary levels, each representing a cavern themed after ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Greece. The player's objective is to recover hidden treasures, culminating in a final challenge within a fifth cavern.
Gameplay involves navigating through four distinct chambers within each cavern. The core task in every chamber is to locate six fragments of an artifact and assemble them into a complete puzzle. The environment contains hazards in the form of dangerous animals, which must be avoided, and food items that can restore health.
Progress often depends on solving environmental puzzles, many of which require operating switches. The player is equipped with three specialized tools: a helmet that projects a light beam for manipulating prism-based mechanisms, shoes that enhance jumping ability, and a limited supply of shields that offer temporary protection from enemies. The strategic use of these tools is necessary to overcome obstacles and manage the challenging threats present in the chambers.
