Rol Crusaders Overview
The game is set against a backdrop of medieval religious conflict, where the Templar order, initially celebrated for its martial prowess and sanctioned by the Pope, becomes the target of a conspiracy. Its downfall is orchestrated by jealous rivals, most notably the Holy Inquisition, which employs false accusations and executions to eliminate the knights.
This persecution forms the core conflict, as a powerful inquisitor named Belasco seeks to claim a legendary artifact the Templars had pursued: the Ark of the Covenant. His goal is to use its hidden power in a pact with the Devil, aiming to plunge the world into darkness. The player assumes the role of a surviving Templar, positioned as the sole force capable of stopping this apocalyptic threat.
The narrative establishes a clear progression from historical intrigue to supernatural confrontation. The player's objective is to confront and ultimately destroy the demonic power that Belasco has aligned with, completing the Templars' final mission.
