Pacdoom Overview
PacDoom III: Halloween Party is a DOS game that reinterprets the mechanics of Pac-Man within a Halloween setting. The player controls PacMan, who must navigate through hostile environments to find an exit in each stage rather than clearing dots.
Dots serve as ammunition for an arsenal that includes guns, grenades, bombs, and rockets. Enemies are aggressive and will fire at the player, making combat a necessary and challenging component of progression. Levels are composed of multiple screens containing many adversaries and various power-ups.
Some walls can be destroyed, and exits may be blocked by obstacles like fire, requiring the player to locate specific items such as a fire extinguisher. The game provides twenty pre-made levels and includes a level editor for custom creations.
