K-1 Tank Overview
The game is a mission based tank simulation set during the 1991 Desert Storm operation. Players command a main battle tank through twenty sequentially unlocked scenarios, with objectives that include eliminating enemy armor, convoys, or specific buildings.
Before a mission begins, a briefing outlines the goals and players can choose from four tank configurations. This selection involves adjusting the loadout of two primary ammunition types: heat and APFSDS rounds. Mission failure occurs if the tank is destroyed, but an unsuccessful attempt can be retried if the vehicle survives.
Gameplay involves direct control of the tank's movement and turret rotation. Two primary combat views are available: a cockpit perspective for operating the main gun, which includes a zoom function, and a machine gun view effective against nearby helicopters. Successfully completing an objective immediately concludes the engagement and advances the campaign, with the possibility of receiving a medal.
