Gateworld: The Home Planet Overview
Gateworld: The Home Planet is a side scrolling platformer where the player controls Captain Klondike. His objective is to gather fuel for his crashed ship on an alien asteroid, a process that involves navigating through numerous environments.
The gameplay involves moving through over thirty levels, which are depicted as lush alien worlds. Progression requires collecting items like coins and gems, utilizing power ups, and overcoming obstacles such as puzzles, traps, and hostile creatures.
The experience includes animated sequences for its story and conclusion, and it offers a complete soundtrack. Players can select from three distinct skill levels, making the adventure fair to challenging depending on their choice. The journey culminates in a final encounter with a being known as G.O.R.G.
