Full Metal Planete is a digital adaptation of its board game counterpart. Players, up to four, control motherships on an alien world with the primary objective of collecting ore over a set period of twenty-four rounds.
While resource gathering is central, the presence of substantial military units like tanks and destroyers means conflict with opponents is an equally significant aspect of play. Success requires strategic planning, making the experience challenging.
The conversion from the physical game is thorough, incorporating nearly all its original mechanics. Environmental factors such as tidal changes can disrupt units, though these patterns are not entirely unpredictable.
