Namco Gallery Vol. 1 is a Game Boy compilation containing four titles. This collection is compatible with the Super Game Boy, offering enhancements for play on that hardware.
Among the included games is a version of Galaga, which had only been accessible on the system previously within another dual-game cartridge. The package also introduces Mappy to the Game Boy platform for the first time. Battle City and Namco Classic round out the selection.
The cartridge provides on-screen instructions for each game. Player progress in the form of high scores can be recorded and retrieved using a password system.
