Warlocked Overview
Warlocked is a real-time strategy title for the Game Boy Color set in a fantasy conflict. The core struggle involves the Human forces of Queen Azarel and the Beast horde of Chief Zog, with players able to command either faction.
Gameplay revolves around a combination of activities including resource management, constructing buildings, exploring the map, and engaging in combat. A distinctive feature is the inclusion of wizards, each possessing a single powerful spell. Over twenty types exist, hidden within the game, with abilities ranging from converting enemy units to transforming them into creatures like chickens or skeletons.
The single-player experience consists of thirty missions per side. Progress here unlocks two-player battle maps for competitive play via a Game Link Cable. Furthermore, resources accumulated during campaigns can be used to create custom armies, which can then be exchanged with another player using the console's infrared port.
