R-Type DX Overview
R-Type DX is a compilation title for the Game Boy Color that combines two distinct games into one package. The player assumes the role of a pilot operating the R-9 spacecraft in a conflict against the Bydo Empire, a threat to humanity.
This cartridge contains enhanced versions of both R-Type and R-Type II originally released for the Game Boy. The deluxe edition integrates these two separate titles into a single, unified game experience.
