Inspector Gadget: Operation Madkactus Overview
Inspector Gadget: Operation Madkactus is a side-scrolling action game where the player must stop Dr. Claw from spreading a dangerous virus. The mission involves navigating five distinct levels, each composed of four areas filled with hostile enemies and environmental hazards.
Progression requires switching between three characters: Inspector Gadget, his niece Penny, and her dog Brain. Gadget possesses unique offensive tools like a hammer hat and rocket shoes for combat and mobility. Penny and Brain, while less capable in direct fights, are more agile and essential for bypassing obstacles and solving puzzles that block Gadget's path.
Various collectibles support the player's journey. Health can be restored with muffins, while gathering specific symbols grants additional lives. Gadget can also utilize projectile weapons, such as plungers for ranged attacks or nets for instant eliminations, to deal with threats.
