Trick Star Overview
Trick Star is a racing title set in a futuristic environment where competitors ride single-wheeled vehicles. The objective extends beyond simply finishing first, as players must also execute aerial maneuvers to gain audience approval and build a boost meter.
Four selectable riders compete across three named leagues. Performing these stunts requires reaching a specific speed, indicated by an on-screen prompt, and then using a combination of shoulder buttons and directional inputs. A full boost meter allows for a temporary speed increase.
The primary League Mode involves racing on three tracks while also accumulating a points total. Achieving a qualifying score unlocks Challenge Mode, where specific stunt sequences must be performed between markers. Success here grants new maneuvers and access to further tracks.
For multiple participants, the game offers a pass-and-play option supporting up to four people. Available modes include racing against the clock, scoring stunt points, achieving the longest jump, and completing set challenges. All players take a turn before the final results are displayed.
