The Wild Overview
The Wild is a Game Boy Advance exclusive side scrolling platformer adapted from the Disney animated film. Its narrative follows the rescue of a young lion named Ryan, who initially left the zoo to learn to roar in the wild but was subsequently captured by a wildebeest king named Kazar.
Kazar plans to sacrifice Ryan to alter the natural food chain. Players undertake this rescue mission by controlling one of two characters: Ryan's father, Samson, or a squirrel named Benny, each possessing distinct traits. Progress through the story's nineteen episodes is gated, requiring the completion of specific tasks in solo missions first.
The game is designed with a younger audience in mind, suggesting its pacing and challenges are easy. It includes a battery backed save system capable of storing three separate game files.
