Motoracer Advance Overview
Moto Racer Advance brings the motorcycle racing series to a handheld system. Its primary progression mode allows players to advance through three distinct racing styles: Cross, GP, and Traffic, with a fourth Ultimate style becoming accessible later. Each style presents a different racing environment and set of challenges.
Races take place in various global locations, and success unlocks new bikes and tracks. The bikes themselves have differentiated performance statistics. On the track, a heads-up display shows race positions and time, while signage warns of upcoming corners and obstacles. A nitro boost for wheelies is available, which depletes with use but slowly recharges.
The gameplay demands adapting technique to the discipline. GP racing on asphalt focuses on precise braking for corners, while Cross events on off-road terrain require controlled powersliding over rough ground. The Traffic style combines elements of both and adds the need to avoid computer-controlled vehicles. The game supports linked multiplayer for up to four players.
