Koutetsu Teikoku from HOT-B is a handheld adaptation of a fighting tournament series. The narrative centers on competitors entering an event hosted by Gustav Munchausen, with some participants aiming to uncover his alleged connections to child kidnappings and Orochi Power experiments.
Its roster is organized into teams of three, featuring returning characters alongside three new exclusive fighters: Reiji Okami, Miu Kurosaki, and Jun Kagami. These new characters are integrated into specific teams, such as the Yagami Team and the Hero Team.
Gameplay mechanics are derived from a prior arcade release, retaining its visual and audio style. Modifications include an adjusted Striker System and a dedicated Ranking Mode that evaluates player skill. The overall structure maintains the series' team-based combat format with these added features.
